Historical buildings, such as the neo-Romanesque Einhard Basilica, as well as numerous half-timbered buildings in the center of Seligenstadt are well worth a visit. Besides the picturesque Old Town, Seligenstadt also offers numerous interesting museums such as the Benedictine Abbey or the Regional Museum.
The town hall is also worth mentioning. The old pumping station at the exit Klein-Krotzenburg was operated for many years and was replaced by the Seligenstadt wastewater treatment plant.
In the Klein-Krotzenburg forest near the highway rest area Weiskirchen, are the Froschhäuser waterworks. This is still in operation today and produces approx. 150 m3/h for the surrounding areas.
